The first step to creating online residual income is to identify why this goal is
important to you. Do you want extra spending money each month, or do you dream
of working from home full-time? Why is this important to you? Put it in writing
and commit to your dream.
The second step is to make a plan of smaller goals that you will need to accomplish
in order to obtain your main goal. This may include several income streams. You
can determine how much you need to make in each one and how many referrals you
may need to achieve those income goals.
The third step is to council with your upline. If you have a successful upline,
then they may already have a system of tools, training, and lead generation systems
that are proven to work with your opportunity. Don’t make the mistake of ignoring
this step. The upline is not there to be your “boss”. This is your business. They
are there to be a coach. They can save you a lot of time in trial and error. If the
person that brought you into the opportunity cannot help you, then go up another
level and ask for help. Don’t expect them to do all the work for you, but they can
guide you in the systems that have proven to work for the team.
The fourth step is to organize your time and make a daily plan of action. It could
help to use a calendar or planner. For example: set aside two hours for surfing
traffic exchanges each night, a half an hour for working several safelist, and extra
time on the weekends for social media.
The fifth step is to teach your downline to repeat the same steps above. They will
drop out if they are not successful. Don’t forget to teach them to train their
downline.
In conclusion commit to your dream, set goals, make a plan, council with your
upline, and train your downline. I cannot promise that you will make money, but I
believe the ability to succeed is going to be based on your level of dedication to your
dream and following thru on the steps it takes to achieve you goals large and small.
